New Bike

So, I’ve decided to buy a new bike!
This was in no way inspired by the guy I saw in Leicester at the weekend who was riding one of these bad boys:
Check that bad boy out!! It’s a Raleigh Lizard!! I wanted one of these SO bad when I was younger! I mean just look at it?! It’s awesome! And this guys was in perfect nick, I mean, it’s like he had just bought it! As you can tell, I was pretty blown away!
I don’t think a Raleigh Lizard is going to do me though! I was thinking about buying a fixed wheel bike, specifically, this one:
As you can see, it looks FRICKING AWESOME!! It’s from the website www.funkedupfixies.com and I REALLY want it, but the massive hill to our apartment and the lack of gears is putting me off!! I’ve also decided to get the luas in (with my bike) in the morning so I’m not a sweaty mess during the show, so I’ve got to buy something light enough to carry up and down the steps to the luas stops! This bike might be a bit heavy!
Any thoughts or suggestions? I don’t want to spend too much, but I want something decent! There’s a Bike Acution at Merlin Motor City for the Gardai next weekend, so I’m thinking of popping along to that!? Ever been to one?

We caught up with Katy Perry ahead of her gig at the O2 in Dublin last night, 8 November 2011! It was literally the last date of her European tour and poor Katy was knackered!! So, in her pajamas at the venue, we had the chats. I’ve beeped out SOME of the bad language, but she curses like a sailor, so there’s still a bit in there, you have been warned! Apparently you can now pick up a house on some of Dublin’s fanciest roads for “Entry Level Prices”, as this photo from the Irish Times website shows:
Further down however, it appears that my definition of Entry Level and others are, well, different:
Yes, I’m being partly facetious, and yes I did just have to google how to spell facetious, because I do understand the point that’s being made, and for many €700K may be ‘Entry Level’, but not for this povver!

I’ve not got an iphone at the moment, so I haven’t been able to download this and try it out, but if it does what it says it does, then it’s pretty gosh darn slick. In practical terms, I’m not sure when you’d use it, but I’ve a wedding coming up next year (mine) and I’m thinking that I’ve just sorted out the whole ‘videographer’ thing. Check out the blurb from their website, it basically allows you to link a load of iphones together with a number of them acting as cameras (and the people holding them as camera men and women) and one as the Director giving orders and deciding what should be looked at and what not…

This looks totally amazing and sorry if I’m late to the party and you all already knew that this was coming! It’s a movie about Elmo and the guy who is Elmo….I mean, HELLO?? Mind you, I’m less inclined to want to be tickled by, nor to tickle, Elmo now that I know who I’m really tickling….It’s even voiced by Whoppi Goldberg, I mean come on!
