			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Disaster of a day. I said yesterday that I was tempted to make excuses and act like a kid when I didn&#8217;t do any training. Today I&#8217;m taking myself up on my own offer. Today, I had an hour and a half meeting, I had all the continuity for 3e to record, then it started snowing and I spent nearly 2 hours moving about a foot a minute getting home.</p>
<p>So you see, I COULDN&#8217;T get to the gym. Ah, who are we kidding, I could of course have gotten to the gym, I just didn&#8217;t. In fact, I didn&#8217;t even do my 8 Minute Abs, I actually forgot to, and when I remembered, I only had enough energy for a 2 minute ab workout, which was pretty rubbish!</p>
<p>I ate every sweet, biscuit and crisp in the apartment as well. The only saving grace was that we haven&#8217;t done a shop in ages so there actually wasn&#8217;t all that much to eat and it was too cold and slippy to go out and buy junk in the shop, a bizarre saving grace.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Spent all day in bed, like all day!! Went home from the radio show at about 12, had food, started bailing into my stockpile of drugs and went to bed. Got up again after 6 and spent the rest of the evening on the couch. Can&#8217;t remember the last time I had as bad a cold. Dosing myself up on 4Flu and Vitamin C with cough bottle and decongestant.</p>
<p>No training, just bed rest all day. Hoping that I&#8217;ll be able to knock it on the head today and/or tomorrow and get back to training ASAP. Worse, I&#8217;ve been treating myself for the last few days on the basis that I&#8217;ve been sick, so i&#8217;ve eaten loads of crisps/sweets/chocolate, and not been eating healthy at all. Disaster. 3 days of no exercise and 3 days of bad eating means I&#8217;ve put back on 3 or 4lbs in the few days. Shit buzz.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Look, anyone will tell you that an important aspect of any training programme is incorporating rest days. So today was a rest day, where no exercise whatsoever was undertaken. Does anybody know for sure when the correct time to weigh yourself is? My weight can differ by 4-6lbs depending on the time of day, and whether I have eaten or not. Anyway, the scales today looked ok, but it&#8217;s a dodgy cheap one we bought in Dunnes Stores, so i&#8217;m not sure how reliable it is at the best of times.</p>
<p>I ate a load of Halloween leftovers this morning (while trying to find my clothes!) which sank the diet for the day, but was on best behaviour after that and treated myself to a can of coke zero and some low fat crisps last night. I think i&#8217;m totally awesome drinking coke zero, but then I saw a report in the paper this morning that said drinking 2 cans of diet coke a day can DOUBLE your chances of getting serious kidney disease (or something) which I&#8217;m assuming also holds true for coke zero? That&#8217;s a disaster frankly!!</p>

<p>Operation &#8220;drink gallons of water&#8221; continues a-pace, with more wee breaks than seems healthy or helpful!!</p>
<p>Back to training tomorrow afternoon with another game of squash!</p>
