I’m Ryan. I’m a DJ on Dublin radio station, Spin1038, Dublin. I am also one of the voices of continuity on 3e, a digital TV station in Ireland.
I like cats and dogs….let’s see what else?? I am totally super cool now, obviously, but I was a bit of a nerd in school. I’m still a bit of a nerd and buy pretty much every gadget and gizmo that I can afford. I play the drums, badly, but my dad threw out my drum kit when it started rusting and falling apart in the garage. My band (Alloy) (it wasn’t really my band either) once supported Aslan, but then we fell apart when the success went to our heads.
I played for the Templeogue United Under 12A team, but suffered a dip in form and dropped down to the Under 12Ds to get my confidence back. I scored so many goals I decided not to move back to the A team. True Story.
I moved around like the Littlest Hobo when I was a kid, and lived in Galway for 6 years (Salthill, Dalton Drive specifically). When I settled back in Dublin I went to St Pius X Primary School and Templeogue College (we are the ‘logue and we are the best) then studied law at Trinity College Dublin before going on to work for McCann FitzGerald. Then after 8 years of study, training and really hard work to become a solicitor in a big respected law firm…….I left, and came to work at Spin1038 full time as a presenter on Fully Charged.
