Hi, I’m Ryan Phillips, DJ on Spin1038 in Dublin Ireland. But I probably contacted most of the people reading this myself, so you guys already know that right? The main purpose of the blog is as a motivational tool to help me train for the Dublin City Marathon 2010, which I intend to run for charity next year. Arms are killing me today. Stupid swimming, that’s the last time I’ll don one of those little hats and subject myself to such toture, I suspect water-boarding would be about the only more tortuous thing involving water that you could be subjected to. Anyway, after swimming yesterday I was scheduled to hit the cross trainer and the weights again today. My arms weren’t able for the weights, so I just did the cross trainer for half an hour. Hoover Bag Trauma

Today, I spent far longer than any normal man should trying to track down Hoover Bags for the Argos Value Range hoover that came with the apartment. I hadn’t changed or emptied the bag on it in the year since we moved in, which I didn’t think was that big a deal, but apparently it is. Anyway, this hoover is no longer sold by Argos, but I went down anyway and looked for one that looked like or comparable to the one we had and bought the bags for that one. They were the wrong bags.
